Pain On Both Sides Of The Stomach

A Cry in the Silence

Los Gritos del Silencio

"Noisemaker the tree falling in a lonely wood where nobody can hear?"

I was always struck by the popularity of this alleged paradox
. And I say alleged because I assume that such a question can only be raised from a position deeply egocentric and lack of true knowledge . Why? Because I understand that nature exists, lives and feels apart from the sad story involving a species like ours, almost always so happy to know. Moreover, looking at the planet perspective, I would say that after many efforts and progress have come to attain the status of plague: a species of choice, yes, but to star in a full-blown cancer.

Perhaps you have noticed, maybe not, but it is a fact that in all countries, in all languages, the cries sound more or less the same. And although no one hears sound. Sounds like Munch's famous painting , though it has never sounded really. For a cry is a scream.
