The euphoria in Egypt is contagious. And sadness for the price that many have to pay to achieve democracy in their land too. As viewers of CNN and the BBC feel the same emotions I had for some decades to see the initial events in the Plaza Tiannamon. Read however, a bad omen: Tahrir Square is the New Plaza Tiannamon? For now reject these negative thoughts. 
Fear theocracies worsens when Christians and Jews contemplate liberation movements in countries with a Muslim majority. Also the United States and Europe tremble when they mention the possibility that the Muslim Brotherhood won control in the Middle East, despite the resignation of the party to violence as a political weapon. Barak Obama's message about it disappointed me. I understand that you have to walk in his diplomacy on eggshells. Perhaps for this reason the messages are ambiguous: CNN reports support the demonstrators, and given the close relationship between this station and the official U.S. government policy, perhaps we could imagine that advertisers are preparing the way for Obama to stop supporting this nefarious dictator pretending to be king.
